Recent minor technical issues with the Sun have left P&O wanting to modernise its fleet and retain a reputation of hitch-free cruises, leading to the decision to say goodbye to the 1900-passenger ship.
Her final P&O voyage will be in July, and passengers booked past this date will be offered equivalent or near-equivalent cruises on other ships, or refunded if there are no sailings that suit them. There are still a few cabins available to sail on the Sun before she goes, so get in quick if you want to farewell her! She has faithfully introduced many people to cruising in the Pacific area, and will be missed by many cruisers.
