Rhapsody of the Seas' refurbishment is drawing to an end. At the end of the month, having received the Royal Advantage, she will sail from Singapore where she is being refit to Australia before heading up to the east coast of Canada.

The renovations have been extensive, and taking place bow-to stern in cabins and public areas alike. Furniture, carpet and upholstery is being replaced, and the dining venues will be changed and added to. Like Radiance of the seas recently, the Rhapsody will get the Chops Grille, Japanese Izumi, the Chef's Table experience and a Park cafe for free, healthy food and snacks. There will also be a Crown and Anchor Lounge for loyalty guests and revamped kids areas.

Electronic upgrades are also exciting for Royal Caribbean passengers- shipwide wi-fi, touch screen wayfinder systems that tell you everything from where you are and how to get somewhere to what's on the menu that evening, a giant outdoor screen and iPads in every room.
